The provision of access to StatsBomb Courses (the ‘Service’) is provided by STATSBOMB SERVICES LIMITED a company registered in England and Wales with number 10377735 whose registered office is at University of Bath Innovation Centre, Carpenter House, Broad Quay, BATH, BA1 1UD (‘StatsBomb’).


  1. This list of Terms and Conditions are the rules you agree to when purchasing StatsBomb courses (‘StatsBomb Courses’).
  2. StatsBomb Courses have been designed for educational purposes only. The intent is to provide material to teach the principals of football analytics.
  3. It is not permitted to copy, distribute, install, reproduce, publish or share in any way provide course material to any external or third party, including for academic purposes, or to use StatsBomb Courses material for any activity of an illegal or fraudulent nature.
  4. Your StatsBomb Course login details (username and password) are usable only for StatsBomb courses and not for any other StatsBomb products including StatsBomb Data or StatsBomb IQ.
  5. Your login details are valid for you only, you not permitted to share login credentials with any third party.
  6. StatsBomb warrants and represents that it has the necessary rights to enter into this Agreement and to license the StatsBomb Courses material to you for educational purposes only.
  7. The courses are provided on an “as is” basis.
  8. StatsBomb shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure provide accurate and highest quality information possible throughout. 
  9. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or in any way limit either Party's liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or any other liability to the extent that such liability may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law.
  10. Without prejudice, neither Party will be liable to the other Party:under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions whether arising through breach of contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or in any other way; and for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever.
  11. StatsBomb may at any time suspend your login to StatsBomb Courses without liability if: (a) StatsBomb reasonably believes that you are using, distributing or making available any part of StatsBomb Courses other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; (b) StatsBomb reasonably believes you have breached these Terms & Conditions; (c) StatsBomb suspects fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity; or (d) StatsBomb reasonably believes that provision of the Service (or any part of it) has become contrary to: (i) any law and/or regulation; and/or (ii) any accreditation, permission or other right granted to or held by StatsBomb or any of its affiliates ceases to be held, and in either case the Parties cannot, acting reasonably and in good faith, agree such changes as may be necessary in order to achieve compliance. StatsBomb may suspend the Service immediately to mitigate any potential losses, damages or claims.
  12. You acknowledge and agree that all data, data models, data visualisations and analytics features provided through StatsBomb Courses, are the property of StatsBomb. 
  13. You shall not transfer, distribute, license, sell or otherwise exploit for any purposes whatsoever any data, content or third party submissions or other proprietary rights owned by StatsBomb:
  14. StatsBomb shall keep your personal data (name, email address) privately and shall not: use such personal data except for the purpose of exercising or performing its rights and obligations under or in connection with this agreement; or disclose such personal data in whole or in part to any third party save as expressly permitted by clause 15.
  15. StatsBomb will use personal data for creating your account, processing payments and refunds, and communicating with you in relation to StatsBomb Courses.
  16. StatsBomb will comply with all data protection laws as set out by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  17. Either Party may disclose personal data to the extent such information is required to be disclosed by law, by any  governmental or other regulatory authority or by a court or other competent jurisdiction provided that, to the extent it is legally permitted to do so, it gives the other Party as much notice of such disclosure as possible. 
  18. Any failure or delay by either Party in performing its obligations as a result of an Event of Force Majeure will not constitute a breach of the terms of this Agreement provided that such Party will use all reasonable endeavours to mitigate the effects of the relevant Event of Force Majeure and to resume the performance of its obligations as soon as possible.
  19. The Parties acknowledge and agree that nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship or otherwise between the Parties.
  20. A person who is not a party to these Terms & Conditions has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce, or to enjoy the benefit of, any provision of these Terms & Conditions.
  21. These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including any non-contractual claims or disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
